I have a 14.1oz handheld propane tank that is empty. Can they be refilled? recycled? Out with the trash? I mean, it is steel, so i suppose it could at least be steel recycled, correct?
The small handheld bottles that I have are 16oz and I refill them using an adapter attached to my 20lb tank. I have also recycled some at our local scrapyard. They require you to drill a couple of holes in the bottles to prove they are completely empty. Each recycling place probably has there own rules and requirements.
