Many thanks to Pete Jaffris, Jerel Williams, Alan Lehman, Doug Waller, Benard Briend and Dave McCallie for helping with Thursday's group of 32. Before the group went into the classroom I snapped a shot of three of the guys with their telescopes. Holy cow, that does indeed look exactly like a real meteor smoke trail as we have all seen in past photos. Not at all like a jet contrail. Great shot!

Somehow, I was able to see only one frame that you posted....were there other attachments of the trail that my browser didn't like?

Attached is similar nighttime meteor trail I photographed in 2001 about 3 minutes after initial entry. It looked more like your shot a bit earlier.
