Hello -- This is Jackie B. Last year, we were not open at all for the public. This spring, we decided to open up, and set up May 1 & 15th. We had quite a few members and folks show up, so we know our new procedures will work. All is outside.... 1) we are projecting the telescope view outside via wi-fi, and projecting on a big screen out there. Then, Terry C. gave a program on the south side, also projected onto a big screen. The pubic and members brought chairs, etc. Yet... it was pretty cloudy. Couldn't really see any night sky objects. And you are correct.... this Saturday will probably be cancelled. Watch our website, Facebook and Twitter, where we will let everyone know if it is "go" or "no go" early on Saturday afternoon.
