I am new to the society (late last year after getting my first scope) and was planning to go to my first public night at Powell on Saturday but not only does it look like there will be zero visibility of the night sky but it might be actively raining/storming.
What are the contingency plans and is it possible it's cancelled all together? Even if there's nothing to look at I was still thinking of going as I haven't met anyone yet (other than seeing some of you on the video meetings) but it is a bit of a drive so just wanted some thoughts on the plans or if many other people will be there.
Thanks,
