there were a couple of non-team members there. Alan is always there to run the gate. Rick, Dave McCallie spent the morning and afternoon digging and laying conduit to the baby dome. Dave and i both went home to clean up and then came back down. I think it was the best public night of the year for viewing. Dave M. had the 30" dancing around deep sky objects and there were some rather spectactular views of a number of M objects. I though the trifid was spectacular. He is now able to focus, slew, plate solve to center and image, all from his laptop sitting in the air conditioned classroom. Being able to show some rather spectactular views of things with less than 5 minutes between objects is great for the public.
