Team 3 at least started with a clear night at Powell this past Saturday, but of course the clouds eventually showed up to where we could only see the moon.

Still we had approximately 60 guests. Jerel Williams presented his Solar System program, Jim Ketchum, Pete Jafferis, Terry Conner and I "think" one more member had their scopes set up as well. David Young and David McCallie projected images of the moon from the Ruisinger to the outdoor projector and Mike Larkin shared his knowledge of the lunar features while using the projected moon image as reference.

Alan Lehman, Robynn Andrascek, John Boren, Dave Brackey, Bernard Briend and Doug Miller were also on hand as well as several other AKSC members that I noticed but didn't have time to confirm.

David Young treated the observing and guest area with tick, chigger, mosquito and I think vampire repellent over the past week and much to everyone's relief it all actually seemed to work.

In spite of the clouds seemingly on-time and usual appearance on a public night, I think everyone had a good time and it's always good to get out of the city and go to Powell.

Thank you everyone for pitching in and helping!

Oops. Once again, I have mispelled Robynn's last name. It should be Andracsek. I hope.

Sorry, Robynn. S before C except before E? How does that go?
